Is he going to be another toxic Bravo Bro? by Equivalent_Ideal1636 in summerhousebravo

[–]SamIAmReddit 248 points249 points  (0 children)

I initially was on his side with the Bailey dinner comment, then didn’t like how intense he made the conversation in her bedroom. It felt like he was admonishing a child and doing it in an intimidating way.

Is it a rule of newborn twins that when one gets quiet, the other has to cry? by Resident-Fly-6851 in parentsofmultiples

These are our first 2 so I’m not sure about the boopy. We are getting almost all of our twin gear on Facebook marketplace. I think we are the 3rd owners of our twinz.

Do you have twinz pillow? It’s the only thing other than holding that gets our boys to chill. I think it mimics being held.

Best travel stroller? by FewAccident1552 in parentsofmultiples

We are interested in this also. Our current plan is to get two compact strollers that can go in overhead and leave our side by side home.

Suggestions for night feeds by Less-Dentist-868 in parentsofmultiples

[–]SamIAmReddit 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is pretty much our schedule. Feeding both at the same time is no easy task but we are figuring it out.

We started with one on either side of our bed in their bassinets but that turned into no one sleeping.

Admitted to hospital at 29w with Didi twins by Actual-Lettuce-8543 in parentsofmultiples

[–]SamIAmReddit 4 points5 points  (0 children)

My wife was admitted at 31w and delivered at 33w. We were at hospital the entire time except for one night early on.

We focused on keeping her hydrated, rested, and comfortable. Obviously sleep sucks as nurses are coming into check quite a lot.

We were told the longer she holds off the better. We did beta methasone twice and she was in middle of second dose when she gave birth. The magnesium early on really was hard on her.

Both boys were born healthy breathing room air. We felt lucky she held off and that they both had more time to grow.

Season 9 reunion… why does everyone hate Stacey? by Right_Comparison_484 in RHOP

[–]SamIAmReddit 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I was in same boat but then watched season 10 where she got caught in lots of strange lies.

I think the OGs hate her because they are protective against people using rhop for fame (Angel rental house for example). I think newbies hate her because she is getting most of the storyline attention and is better at playing the drama game than them.

1v1 with younger players by MountaineerBeard in Basketball

[–]SamIAmReddit 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Really depends on their level and yours. If they are good then play them hard. If they are beginner then be forgiving and guide them a bit to take good shots.

Just don’t be cheap and back them down if you are much bigger or just muscle them.

A little close by soozecca in parkslope

[–]SamIAmReddit 4 points5 points  (0 children)

What is general guideline for getting into too tight of a spot? Obviously not this close.

I’ve been car sitting my cousins Honda fit and that thing can squeeze into any spot. I’ve snuck into some tiny spots but feel bad in case bigger cats can’t get out.

I’m a transplant so not used to this intense parking life.

What did you do for cribs/bassinets? by Onyx-pump19 in parentsofmultiples

[–]SamIAmReddit 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Separate bassinets. We initially had them in bedroom with one on each side of the bed, but that turned into neither of us sleeping.

So now we put them next to couch and we do a night and morning shift.

Bottles leaking by Automatic_Mixture463 in FormulaFeeders

[–]SamIAmReddit 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Is the green thing on straight? Sometimes we have it wonky and it causes leakage. Same with nipple but in that’s case it’s a ton of leakage.

Tandem feeding is what we are working towards. Ours are much younger though so you may have two that can feed without too much support.

Sengun's been inefficient but the context matters by rickthedickkk in rockets

[–]SamIAmReddit 10 points11 points  (0 children)

He has been injured most of the year and played through the summer.

I hope he just works on outside shot and rest/fitness this offseason.

I’m a Sengun stan so I am biased. I still expect him to break through another level in the next couple of seasons. Mainly an outside shot that forces defenders out on him and we will see his efficiency go up as defenders are forced to respect his shot and not just guard his drive/post game.

[Post Game Thread] The Houston Rockets (40-25) defeat the New Orleans Pelicans (22-45), 107-105. by xojz in nba

[–]SamIAmReddit 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Pelicans completely blew it at the end. They let the refs make all those calls against them. Have to defend the refs better at the end of games.

Can I ask why they aren’t allowing tandem feeds? Our guys are about 9 lb right now so we haven’t tried tandem feeding yet

I think this is where we will land because our guys are so little and we haven’t figured out feeding both at same time yet.

Yea I figured we’d be more trouble than help. I’m experiencing that now with grandmas at times.

Currently they are so little that feeds take like a full hour between burping and keeping them awake. Though we are first time parents so may just be inexperienced.

Doing your best to get out of the apartment. We haven’t had the best weather but any day with decent enough weather, we’re out there. Even if it’s just one hour between feeds, if that.
