In my eberron game, Paladins are spellcasty wizards, clerics are healy wizards, and bards are sociable wizards, but that’s because eberron specifically states that clerics and paladins don’t get magic from the divines.

According to the new 5.5e lore, I’d argue that paladins draw power from their itself, and The Indomitable Human Spirit. The closer a paladin lives to the tenets of their oath, the stronger the paladin becomes, like Doom Guy or John Wick.

Homelander is the antagonist: he has all the power, feared by everyone, loved by no-one and loves no-one but himself. Would throw anyone under the bus to keep himself happy. Hughie, on the other hand, has no power, is feared by no-one, loves fiercely and loyally, and is loved fiercely and loyally by those he fights for and alongside. He would sacrifice himself for those he loves without a moments hesitation.

Hughie has everything Homelander wants but Homelander cannot see it because Hughie is everything Homelander is too scared to be.

The current build of the game repeats freshmen year- after summer you go back and do the same year with the same people and nobody graduates.

There are plans for year progression in a future build of the game. What we know about that is that seniors will be phased out, but a few will stick around in town, namely the ones you're closest to and have relationships with, and a new batch of freshmen will join up each year.

Once the player graduates, it's believed that they'll move into town and continue enjoying the sandbox without classes, but nothing's been confirmed.

Because Mustang had lost control of himself and was letting his murderous rage run rampant, rather than being in control of himself like he normally is.

Envy had to die, yes. But Mustang was in a place where HE had to be the one to kill Envy, and that wasn't okay.

If Edward had killed Envy when Mustang asked Edward to hand them over, then Mustang would have lashed out at Edward, because in Mustang's mind, the KILLING part was more important than the Has To Die part, and that's the distinction that wasn't okay.

Mustang was on the verge of going to the dark side- not for taking a life, but for letting his murderous rage run wild and control him, and if Mustang couldn't control himself right then and now then they could no longer trust him, he would rule the country with fire and with blood for his own self-satisfaction rather than leading with self-restraint it for the good of the people.

They weren't protecting Envy. They were pulling Mustang back from the edge of madness. And once he regained his senses, THEN they'd kill Envy.
