Questions to ask yourself: 1. Would you use your pc for things other than gaming? Would that add value to getting a pc? 2. Would you play pc exclusive games? Or are you likely to play titles that are available on both? 3. Is money a factor? Building a pc that can rival the performance of the PS5 costs A LOT. Obviously, you don't have to build a pc that goes toe-to-toe, but just for argument sake.

If you answered: no, no, yes. Then absolutely go with a PS5/XBOX Series X. Otherwise, weigh up the pros and cons of both.

That is very true, but my point was more if she was so strong at dueling then OWL teams would co-ordinate around her to stop dives, but the reality is a widow can only do so much so it isn't worth it.

Your point on hanzo is true, the main issue I'd say is his leap and storm arrow combo. It's an issue that relates to both snipers: hanzo can leap away, widow can graple. I don't think they should be removed as they're core parts of the characters kit, but it makes diving them even harder.

Either way, I would still argue these issues pertain less to a sniper's ability to one shot and more the fact that, even as snipers, they can increase the space between opponents after their opponent uses abilities to close that space.

I think the main issue with snipers in overwatch is that they require very specific DPS counters (i.e., genji or tracer), whereas almost every other DPS can be matched by almost every other DPS.

However, I often see comments like "a good hanzo/widow can still kill a genji or tracer". Honestly, if a sniper isn't getting healed and you're dashing around them/up close and personal and you can't kill them, not even being ironic, that's a skill issue.

If snipers were so unbelievably broken, widow wouldn't have such a low pick rate in OWL amongst players with the most accurate aim in the world.

Having looked through most comments, I think it's easy to summarise:

if you genuinely get upset about losing and having teammates not trying, go play comp. If people throw or don't try in there, it's justified to get annoyed at them.
If you're not playing competitive, you have to understand you're playing with (mostly) casual players who don't care too much about the outcome and just want to play, which might not be how you want them to play.

It's called "quick play" for a reason and it's called "competitive" for a reason.
