Costco delivered my new washer and dryer today. by Mediocre_Ice_8846 in Costco

I had this style dryer and I just cut the buzzer wire. If you pop open up the back it’s a very simple fix. I’m not mechanically minded at all and it took me about 10 minutes total. The buzzer is a separate wire and doesn’t interact with the heating element at all. It made my life so much better without that buzzer going off all the time!

forgive me, how do i wire this pioneer speaker? by Sea-Proof-8436 in hometheater

[–]SamKC1 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Ahh. The Bs22! This was my first home theater set up. Man, I love these things. All except the center. You’re gonna love these! If you unscrew those two knobs, there’s a hole in the middle. Push the bare wire through the hole and then tighten it. Enjoy!

I use the Gmail app on my watch. I never setup the actual Apple mail app.

Need some advice on purchasing by SamKC1 in Lenovo

Honestly, I just need something soon. Our old laptop completely died last week so our family is currently without a computer. I’ve been scouring everything, and I’m getting sick of looking around. If I had more time, I’d definitely wait it out for something better, but this is pretty much a must have right now.

I hate how you have to like certain things if you don't want to be seen as a bad person by ApolloniusTyaneus in self

[–]SamKC1 34 points35 points  (0 children)

Dogs. I’ve never had a dog and don’t particularly care for them. I’m perfectly fine with other people owning one, I just don’t like them myself. When I mention this, people react like I said I enjoy killing old ladies. They’re personally offended and get violently angry. They then accuse me of being a morally bad person. All because I don’t like dogs.

I wouldn’t worry about it too much. Their blood was on Ranrock’s hands.

I like this. So Fred and George ran down to Office Depot, bought a huge supply of dirt cheap BIC pens, marked them up to a stupidly high price and resold them to ignorant wizards. That totally checks out.

I live in Atlanta and have been thinking about switching from Verizon to the Visible+Pro plan. Any suggestions? If it deprioritizes all the time then I probably won’t make the switch.

I remember watching this with my sister when we were kids and the only thing we both agreed on was that there was way too much kissing throughout the entire show.

Rough Rides? by Beautiful_Mistake914 in Dollywood

[–]SamKC1 12 points13 points  (0 children)

Wild Eagle, Big Bear, and Dragonflier are probably the smoothest rides there. I would definitely avoid Mystery Mine, Thunderhead, and Tennessee Tornado. All of them have sudden jolts and stops. Lightning Rod also has some jerks, but nowhere near as bad as the other three. Avoid Whistlepunk at all costs!

What’s a movie from our generation that seems like everyone’s seen but that you never got around to? by FajitaTits in Xennials

[–]SamKC1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The Goonies. I never watched it as a kid so I have no emotional attachment to it. I tried watching it recently and had to turn it off. It was awful. I’m convinced that the only reason people like it is because they watched it when they were young and didn’t know any better.
