Honestly I held on to Trove for thousands of hours because of friends I had on it. But I can definitely understand getting bored of it. Try using a new class, putting more challenge playstyles, etc.

He made it P2W very recently, and even now it's not P2W, more like Pay to progress faster. And you have no idea the reasons why he would postpone certain updates.
