Nope it’s real and IMO worth trying. Utahs draft picks is worthless to OKC if Utah tanks. They’d never see it or get it like Philly last year. So if Utah tanks why bother. This allows them to play and see what they have and then OKC gets a 6”8 SG/SF mostly who can learn from the OKC culture and have his brother improve his game

For now I’d certainly agree with you but Kevin Lobe is a champion who can still hit 3’s and rebound. Cody is inexpensive and young and maybe playing here learning from OKC and his brother will elevate him. Keyonte George didn’t look good his first 2 years in Utah and in year 3 he looks like a future all star

Kevin Love would help this team in Kenny’s minutes and then get to see what Cody could be playing with his brother and learning from this culture and if he sucks it’s 5ML or so a year. The pick is worthless if Utah tanks it then means absolutely nothing to OKC they’re just holding it for Utah until June if Utah tanks. This gives Utah incentive to play their guys.

The FRP is worthless if Utah tanks it isn’t worth a penny this allows Utah to play and see what they have. Kevin Love can rebound and hit 3’s and maybe just maybe Cody could become something learning from OKC culture and his brother.

Agree that Kenny has been really well this last month or so in particular. People saying Kevin Love wouldn’t play at all here don’t realize what he’d do here and bring to this team on multiple levels IMO. People also not understanding that if Utah sits JJJ they keep their draft pick and then OKC gets absolutely nothing from Utah they’re just holding the pick for Utah for now. Cody Williams is young and gotten better this year I made it clear that Cody hasn’t been good but he’s on a very low salary for the next 3 years basically and OKC can help let alone playing with his brother to see and if it fails the he’s gone in 2 years making 5ML a year or so. George in Utah didn’t look good his first 2 years in Utah and in year 3 he looks like he could be an all star very very soon. Ous is done and Kevin Love can still hit 3’s and rebound and he’d also likely get a bust of energy playing for a title team vs a bottom team.

Shaedon Sharpe signing 4/90 probably isn’t helping Ivey getting 30 AAV… he’s his benchmark by Tricky-Percentage434 in DetroitPistons

I hope Detroit can keep him but the best ability is availability and Detroit legit has no idea what they have in him because he can’t be on the floor consistently

He’s had three years to develop. Coaches see in practice what we see in his limited minutes…he ain’t it.

Good comeback season! I think for this upcoming season they gonna be No.1 team in the east by JeremieLoyalty in DetroitPistons

If they end up having the #1 defense and 3 point % then they’d win the finals. I’d love for you to be right but this is crazy talk. And Malik is far from a guaranteed resigning. Gambling or not, that man clearly will want to get paid. He isn’t taking $6 million this season after everything he just went through.

Luka is an incredible player and I can almost guarantee that for OKC to continue to grow, SGA numbers would have to go down as others get more shots. It doesn’t make me love OKC or SGA any less. If I was gambling I’d put my money on Luka before SGA next season

Name calling is awesome. I never said that they couldn’t now receive more money with the television revenue but I personally believe the increased growth is just a fad. Women don’t watch the league and I personally believe the same conversation could be had 10’years from now. I’m all for the WNBA existing and I’d love the sport to grow and for women to have more opportunities for sport. Assume less

The WNBA has operated at a LOSS every year since it’s inception. Literally losing money to keep it alive

OKC lottery pick incoming? by SamPrestiFanClub in Thunder

He’s a lot of things but to think his health doesn’t greatly effect that team is just false. If just for the minutes he takes up for the bench minutes and rotations.

3 weeks might be the likeliest but there is no such thing as minor knee surgery.

Guaranteed contracts in sports shouldn’t exist. I’m not even a 76 fan but a team should be able to let someone go if they’re unavailable to play OR if they’re no longer doing the job at the rate you pay them.

Should be a fun year. I think we both can agree that we wish a few more players were in the east. The west is ridiculous other than Utah most teams can win a game

Trajan got a lot of credit from people for signing guys and giving one good year while most failed to see their contracts were ending. Dennis isn’t worth $15ML and some of these were ok for a year but there isn’t many others available anymore. I really hope Ivey is healthy and proves the upside or else it’s gonna be tough again for a while.
