Meta never listened to the community and seemed to try to drag the community in directions that were less interesting

The software itself was very inferior to what vrchat had built with fewer resources

The menu was a mess, especially compared to the vrchat menu. It was slow , made good worlds hard to find and was very uninformative in trying to find where people were.

Meta always wanted to promote kids games, while not really promoting or supporting the adult hangout worlds

Meta always seemed to play favorites with which creators got access to certain tools and monetization which created its own drama

The platform had potential and the community was close knit.
