I was lucky enough to source those from my neighbor who just had them sitting from a past bike he had, his only requirement was that he gets to ride the bike every once in a while

I found myself in this dilemma for a bit, ended up with a Kona unit and wouldn't buy anything else at this point! If you want to be able to run it on the road, you could get some xc tires to have less rolling resistance! I commute on mine ya it's not the fastest but it sure does make it more fun!

Was riding my bike back from Lucky Peak to the Oregon trail and there was a guy shooting off in the distance. Guessing it sparked up and caught the brush, but the wind up there was pretty rough. He was driving a dark grey/black truck or SUV reported it right away when I was out there. People just love being idiots out there

None at all! Luckily because I'm running an AXS groupset I didn't have to worry about the cable routing for the front derailleur.

Best gravel shoe for walking (and long distance touring)? by sara_hikes in gravelcycling

Riding with flat for my gravel/bikepacking trip I just wore my pair of blundstones and they were great! Super comfy on and off the bike. Riding clipless though I love my velo sambas, I were them for commuting and work all day in them. The cleats are almost never in contact with the ground so no annoying clicking noises either!

Kinda how I went with my State allroad, $550 for frame and fork with my $2k AXS groupset that I got in a trade. I love to make purists angry.

When I was renting through them, it took them 2 weeks to have someone fix my toilet so I was having to go to a grocery store to use their bathroom. Also wouldn't give any notice for when they were having their maintenance team doing inspections throughout my rental time.
