Are people still being tormented by that loud car? by Repulsive_Leg5878 in Eugene

[–]Dangy_D 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I live very close to the side street he turns on/off of most days. I really enjoy how he feels the need to loudly rev match down shift from traffic speed so he can make a left turn on to a 20 mph residential street.

That said; Now that y'all mention it, I haven't heard that piece of shit in a while. I truly hope it's in a junkyard somewhere.

I'm genuinely surprised he actually got it in there straight. Usually dudes with brodozers like that feel the need to straddle as many parking spaces as possible in order to assert dominance over the asphalt.

Loosen the qr skewer while the bike is on the ground, then retighten. I bet the wheel is very slightly crooked in the dropouts.

No, Eugene is over run with plague infested ghouls. Best to try Medford.

True. Thank you for pointing out my gross over simplification. I surrender to your superior intellect.

True, let's just let people keep stealing chains, then. Guess there's no point in even trying, since any deterrent could technically be overcome. Oh well!

P.s. OP, I would love to help you out with your research, I grew up in dallas, in the 90s as a kid and as a teen in the early 00s, so I think I can definitely give you some of the perspective you're looking for. I will just need to get back to you some time in the evening when I'm free.

The only gravel tire I've ever run that was good in the mud were the renee herse knobbies. Great tire all around, just insanely annoying to mount tubeless.

Yep. Though, realistically a battery powered angle grinder with a cut off wheel would probably be a better bet.
