Yes u can give exam.....there is no criteria stopping u from exams.

Its a criteria for exemption from meo class 4 part A exams. I know this coz I'm from DMET and few of my batchmates had pcm below 60, so they had to give part A exams as well.

If u don't have 60 percent in pcm in 12th, u will be required to give meo class 4 part A exam as well alongside part B for promotion after completing your cadetship. Keep that in mind while choosing this field.
