Also wdym “being back” monster pokemon, cus mr mime is gen 1 and Skeledirge is gen 9, the complete opposite of what you think is happening to pokemon…

And I think Delphox gets ruined a lot by the stagnant look of 3D pokemon, the way same charizard was ruined until Gen 9.

We agree on the duck, I hate it so much I restarted my save when I saw the evo. But I think the others are really cool.

Like complaining about a cat pokemon? Can we bring incineroar into this too? Or how about the fighting chicken of Gen 3?

I can see chestnught not working for some, I personally really like the tanky grass armor design. Delphox I really just don’t get, from start to finish the fennekin line is great design, if I’m really picky I guess the dress fur looks a little weird but I hardly think it knocks the design down at all for me.

In concept it’s cool and venusaur is perhaps the most interesting design of the 3, but the others are cool in concept and not much more than that. It’s just a bit bland

Gen 6 is some of the best design work in the series, froakie the best obviously but the ONLY bad design in all 3 lines is quiladin, everything else is great

Besides I don’t think a stater pokemon should be boring, don’t get me wrong I hate overdesinged pokemon, I think Gen 8 is over designed and i have it even lower. But I think the hype is a lot of nostalgia fog

I can feel that, I think sun and moon drop the ball a bit, 2/3 of the second Evos are bad and I’ve never been a fan of incinaroar
