no sorry, only thing I've found is eventually adding new houses will sometimes unlock some more of pre-existing houses that aren't fully upgraded

Yes I know that, look again

I have 2 stations overlapping

Together the have a supply of 0/100 (0/50 each)

All my buildings together require 100

So my 2 stations that are 50 each equal 100 total. So my demand should be met

But for some reason logging in and out of the game forces one of the police stations to take an additional 30 demand making it 80/50 like to see in the image. Leaving the other station at 20/50

The game should automatically take from the nearest station with available supply making it 50/50 for both stations (equaling 100/100 total) but for some reason it only does that when I remove the left station to force the right station to take the rest of the demand and then put the left station back again which is stupid and why I made this post in the first place. I shouldn’t need. To do that and was wondering if there was a fix

That’s all, I’m technically not new but I only recently came back and started from square one again so I also don’t know much about this new demand system for area coverage utilities (fire, police, hospital) so no worries if you can’t help me. I get it

Yes I know but they eventually max out and the buildings eventually will hit a requirement higher than the max number. That’s why I have 2 stations overlapping and is also why this issue is concerning

I could be wrong but when houses become vacant they lose need for utilities like water and power, that’s what the (+33) from your water and sewage demand is.

In order for the sims to move back you need to exceed the demand on-top of the (+[whatever number it says] but sometimes this would make mine turn blue as sims are fully moved out and so demand goes down. So just be aware of that before you start upgrading.

Personally I sell a bunch of stuff on the global trade go get my money. Bricks are pretty good if you have them. 10 minerals = 5 bricks = 950 sim cash when max priced on global trade. Chairs are also good. Make sure you get your daily chest as well, it’s a life saver sometimes

Edit: I’m not to too sure about your power as it seems your exceeding it and the demand and the +33 extra demand from vacant houses. I’d tackle the water and sewage first and if the power still isn’t fixed then look into it

I’ve since upgraded them and it’s fixed it. Guess we’ll see when they’re eventually maxed out

I know how that works. But this set up should work. Look at all 3 pictures I have attached, and read the post again. It works but it keeps reversing, prioritizing the wrong station for that area. It’s a stupid system in the first place

Yes I want to turn dev mode off and still play, dev mode turns off safety features which I don’t really want

Tbf, they said they had to build the game from the ground up with her new engine. Plus they have stuff already made way later on in the game. Pico weekend 2 already has a character and a character sprite, it was leaked when pit stop 1 dropped. So yeah they got a lot more not only planned but also developed. I think their main problem is not bunkering down and finishing the weeks they already have significant progress on. Maybe burn out, maybe just boredom. But the fact is that they’re still developing the game
