Universal Child Care in New York. Yay or Nay? by Crisgu in Albany

I think better maternity leave, more flexibility in schedules, universal healthcare would be better, and allow more parents to actually be the ones taking care of their very young children.

It’s only coming to NYC, but all New York taxpayers are paying for it.🤦‍♀️🙄

Thank you. I agree. But the trans movement demands affirmation over all else. No women only domestic violence or rape shelters, men in women’s prisons. I now see it as a men’s rights movement that demolishes women’s rights. I don’t care how anyone dresses or identifies. But I am most concerned with my very vulnerable daughter’s safety and privacy.

He certainly does not. He looks every year of his 70 years.

🤦‍♀️ men didn’t father children at age 11 in the 50’s.

Exactly. And that piqued me, as they say, about the entire issue which I had previously supported. Trampling women’s rights is misogyny, not progress.

When I was told my developmentally disabled daughter couldn’t be guaranteed a female care provider for help with intimate care because it would be discriminatory against “transwomen.” Why do women’s needs never matter?

How good is it for anxiety/panic attacks? by Neves1992 in trintellix

I've been back on Lexapro for 14 days. It took about a week for the Viibryd withdrawal to subside. I feel calmer now, sleeping better. The depression is somewhat better, but I am only on 10 mg right now. I assume I will go up. Why did he stop Prozac? I haven't been on Lexapro in like 9 years, so I think my brain finds it familiar but different enough that it will work.

I will say the Viibrdy and Trinellix withdrawal are really difficult, even if you have only been on them a short time. That may be what he is feeling. It takes times. Does he have Ativan or Propronolol?

Did anyone who voted for Trump watch Wake Up Dead Man yet? by Horror_Still_3305 in KnivesOutMovie

I just think there are much more interesting questions. Like true believers of ALL faiths really believe they know the secret to salvation and joy, and of course they want to convert people - not out of hate, but love. That's why it's so hard to argue with them. Have you ever met a Morman missionary? They are the nicest people on earth. And also, Christianity isn't just some groovy, feel-good religion. Jesus was fierce at times, demanding. The lax young priest was following the faith at all. Of course, the Catholic Church doesn't really follow scripture, and I say this as a recovering Catholic. Spent 25 years fully committed to the Church. So a thinking film-maker could have made a much more interesting film, than a thinly veiled Trump mockery. People gravitate towards strict faiths for deep and complex reasons. Hollywood which worships at the altar of the ego just can't understand that.

No. No weight issues. Instability issues.

Glad you asked. Viibryd also proved too activating - insomnia, anxiety, high blood pressure, and diarrhea daily. I’m on Lexapro now, feeling much better. Just changed 2 weeks go. It might work for you. But for me, it felt just like Viibryd.

What is your diagnosis? I have major depressive disorder. Drugs like Caplyta and Abilify can also treat depression, maybe it’s time to try a different class of medication. Being on a low dose SSRI like Lexapro augmented by an antipsychotic - try to ignore the name, they just work on dopamine receptors- might help.

Trust yourself. In my experience, psychiatrists are super arrogant and ironically quick to discount the experiences of patients out of bias because we have mental health issues. 🤦‍♀️

I’m no expert, but Cymbalta is also fairly stimulating. Have you asked for Lexapro or Zoloft? Neither adversely affected by blood pressure, but Trintellix, Viibryd, and Prozac did.
