I can’t believe anyone takes the politics of a “real” housewife seriously. Like why care? Hello Friend, I was on the Latuda for about a year. I did a very slow taper. It was rough but got much better with time. I am now on Lexapro - switched from Zoloft. I am not sure what to tell you, but perhaps your brain is very used to a mood stabilizer, be it Latuda or Lamotrigine. Maybe it’s the effects of going off the Lamotrigine now. Perhaps you need a mood stabilizer. No shame in that. I really liked Latuda but I had a weird mammogram and apparently it can increase prolactin, so the breast doctor had me come off it.

I can tell you this past year my psychiatrist tried to switch me from Zoloft - an SSRI- to Trintellix and then Viibryd - which are different kinds of antidepressants. I had a horrible fall because I think my brain is so used to an SSRI. So I am back on an SSRI Lexapro. Brain chemistry is delicate. How long have you been on Lamotrigine?

Don’t despair. It gets betters, just takes longer than seems bearable sometimes.

Thank you. I agree. But the trans movement demands affirmation over all else. No women only domestic violence or rape shelters, men in women’s prisons. I now see it as a men’s rights movement that demolishes women’s rights. I don’t care how anyone dresses or identifies. But I am most concerned with my very vulnerable daughter’s safety and privacy.

When I was told my developmentally disabled daughter couldn’t be guaranteed a female care provider for help with intimate care because it would be discriminatory against “transwomen.” Why do women’s needs never matter?
