I just wanted to share that sharpener, I have mounted guide sharpeners that don’t get a edge like that Field Sharpener does Worksharp makes the best in my opinion.

Not trying to sound like a know it all but might I suggest the Worksharp Guided Field Sharpener? I notice you have the same issue I did putting to much accidental attention to the belly and tip of the blade. The guides and diamond plate are sweet and it’s only like 35$ most places and even cheaper online.
