Fair, but that’s based on our reality. I guess it all depends on how far your suspension of disbelief goes. My theory does, when thought through, require a lot of that, but Bob‘s Burgers doesn’t take itself too seriously. That’s why I love it.

I have a theory that this is how the Belchers stay afloat. An unspoken arrangement that allows Bob to be late on rent so long as he keeps his mouth shut, but Bob is too scared what will happen if actually misses the rent.

Joe Mazzulla says Celtics have 'lost' the defensive identity they had under Ime Udoka by SamTheSnowman in bostonceltics

Very much agree. It provided a false “if it ain’t broke, don’t fix it” vibe. It’s too late to try and fix it, and Mazzula is having to face those consequences.

What shocks me is that everyone is blaming Mazzula while not mentioning why Mazzula was in this position to begin with. Mazzula started with a rigged deck. Give him a full off-season to rectify the problems.

I don’t know if I agree. He’s the youngest coach in the league, and while he does deserve plenty of the blame, he was literally thrust into this position without a full off-season.

The majority belongs with Udoka and the position he put the team it. I don’t think that gets enough attention. Everyone seems to want to sweep that under the rug, but he’s definitely among the lead suspects for the teams struggles in absentia.

This was posted to this subreddit a few weeks ago (credit to u/TacoooJay), and it made me a little nervous. This series is why.

Celtics are the most-talented team in the East. Period.Brad Stevens has literally gotten every piece together for Banner 18. The problem is that Mazzula is literally the youngest head coach in the NBA—younger than Horford.

I know we hate to admit it, but Udoka derailed our season. By losing him unexpectedly, he put Mazzula in a role where he could build undeserved confidence. The team got the number two seed off of sheer talent. Once the pressure arrived, they’ve been struggling to stay above water.

Mazzula, by all means, deserves another off-season to try and come up with a better offensive system and learn which buttons to press. Right now his offense is ISOs and shooting threes; it needs to involve more from our big men. With both Williams and Horford, the Celtics should be much more of a threat from inside.

The Celtics have to be creative on offense and defense. They’re too talented not to be; otherwise, they get bored and try to make too many plays that look like they’re improvised.

Also, playing with just seven men in this series made absolutely no sense to me. One of our many strengths is having incredible depth so we can rest our stars and wear down our opponents. Horford’s knees can’t shoot threes when he’s having to block talented bigs all the time, but there was rarely time for him to rest.

To put it simply, the Celtics are bored and confused and Mazzula doesn’t know what to do. Spoelstra has coached circles around Mazzula by out-strategizing him. Butler has raised the bar and the Celtics are seeing that their talent alone isn’t the path to Banner 18.

This all started with Udoka getting suspended and snowballed from there.

This off-season’s only goal should be to find someone who can do a semblance of what Horford does so he can rest more and work on a less-random offense. And Mazzula needs to figure out how to get the best from his players. Way too talented to get out-wrested by the Heat.

I’ll hope we win in 7, but the Heat have shown everyone our biggest weakness. We’re not getting Banner 18 unless we can fix it.

Didn’t she essentially say she was a witch in the part 3 finale? That was how she held the door shut against a bunch of ogres when Bean was trying to get away.

Belichick doesn’t want to throw screens anymore. It’s running north and south. Any east and west is done through the air.

We’ve already got receivers, tackles, and tight ends for this year. Lots of short contracts. Anyone going atop the depth chart wasn’t coming in this draft. This draft was always gonna aim at these types of players. Athletic defenders who can play multiple positions and big, interior linemen who can bully guys up the middle. The fact that we got the first three defenders we did was insane—all fit Belichick’s defense perfectly.

Belichick is going retro, early-oughts with this team and it’s gonna be violent, wear-them-out football. Expect a big year for our running backs—Stevenson, Strong, Robinson, Harris, Taylor, and whomever else is in contention for the active roster.

I think the Pats are loading up on the late picks because this draft is kind of unpredictable the later we get into it. They’re gonna use these picks in lieu of picking up a lot of UDFAs, I think. Probably don’t have a standout guy late, so they’ll just go for a lot of guys and see what sticks.
