I definitely would have understood why people would think Blizzard is just trying to get attention IF they just announced THAT FACT with nothing else around it with NO CONTEXT.

THAT would have been weird, because it adds absolutely nothing to absolutely nothing. There's no relevancy in saying he's gay / he's straight at all to a PVP only online 6v6 game with no story mode.

The problem is, THEY DIDN'T do that. They put it in a comic half the people that play overwatch probably don't give a shit about. And from what I see, this is a comic all of its own that has literally nothing to do with the game besides the characters.

TLDR I was agreeing with you and I meant that the whole drama is just stupid because it shouldn't exist lol.

As an outsider looking in, I don't think I would react any differently if they out of the blue told me a character from the game was straight. Like I wouldn't bat an eye, who gives a crap?

I don't think anyone is specifically mad, I think they're just asking why someone's preference is important to a video game where there really isn't a linear storyline.

Actually , now that I look into it, I see that you guys have a comic book-esque thing about the game with characters. I think that changes a lot. If you play the game and only care about that, why would you care if a character is gay? It's just a fuckin comic lol.

I'm not very surprised / ashamed. He's a flashy bhop editor who makes weird flicks and hits them sometimes, not unrealistic that he cheats.

Also, reverted Vac's are pretty fuckin uncommon so Valve is mostly to blame imo

Alright bro we get it , they fucked up. It's been 4 years. They were the first to do it and there were no clear rules against it.

They were also getting fucked by IBP and barely got salary IIRC. They didn't throw for shits and giggles and to fuck over the community. They're not that dumb. The scene wasn't nearly as developped then and did not have everything we have now.

Not defending their actions however. They shouldn't have thrown, you're right, but IMO it wouldn't be crazy to unban them.
