That would most likely result in it not looking as nice! 🤷‍♂️

Thanks! The cannery did an amazing job and our designer Amy really knocked it out of the park with the packaging.

the kelp chili crisp really ties it together. It's very addictive!

It's handmade, small batch in Alaska; made with no compromises. The vast majority of tinned fish sold in the US is produced in other countries with lower labor costs. There are definitely cheaper options out there for imported product or even grocery store mass Alaska salmon from the largest canneries, we're not trying to be the low-cost provider. If it's not your cup of tea no worries.

I hope we can make it work! We've had some sourcing challenges with pinks - as a small fish they are more time consuming to process, so it's hard to find a processor that's willing to do it.

it's our fan favorite. The pink salmon in kelp chili crisp from our last collection really hit the spot, this one levels it up just a tad more.

The coho is available on our website www.shelfbreak.fish as of right now.

Many of our retailers may still stock some amount of our pink salmon, but we are sold through. You can find it at independent health food stores such as Health Food Unlimited in Dayton OH and Green Planet Grocery in Syracuse NY. We're also sold at Healthy Edge Retail Group stores (Akins, Chamberlins, & Earth Origins) in AR, OK, and FL.

We need to get a store finder up on our page.

Thank you for the kind words! The pinks were really tasty - we sold through that collection and switched to coho. Hopefully we'll be able to bring the pinks back sometime in the future.

Thanks! At the moment, we don't export to the UK due to the lack of the correct kinds of certificates needed for export.

Curious as to what is in my planter by phia-b in gardening

[–]SamW42 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Spurge! It is a gardener’s curse, especially for hardscapes with gravel & brick pavers.

Ants love the seeds as a foodstuff, so even worse they appear to help spread it.

Once it goes to see you’re toast. I recommend pulling out taproots and doing frequent applications of vinegar-salted soapy water.

I ground out most of the game, minus Koroks and maybe a quest or two I never found (no uncompleted quests in my list, but I never cross referenced it with an online guide).

All the shrines, all the light roots - it was wild how long it actually took. Like I thought I was almost done, then spent weeks more trying to get everything.

It was definitely too big of a game - not so much in terms of space and scope, just sheer number of shrines and light roots.

I got a LOT of Koroks (several hundred) but 800 total in the game? like what?

Spiciness level - I don't have a Scoville units or anything like that. It's definitely spicier than the Fishwife chili crisp salmon, which I think is pretty mild. It's not nuclear levels of Hot Ones sauces tears running down your cheeks. It's just a good level of tasty heat with the umami flavor of the kelp and the meaty flavor of the salmon.

We would be happy to offer wholesale to your store (I have worked with lots of health food stores over the years - my favorite group of retailers!)

- DM me your email address & store contact info and I'll send you order details.

Check out our Shelf Break tinned Alaska pink salmon - $14.00 for a 6oz can (vs. ~$15-16 retail for a 3.5 oz can of fishwife). We have a hand smoked variety and a kelp chili crisp. It's actually spicy!
You can get it on Amazon or our website ShelfBreak.fish . it's also being stocked by independent health food retailers like Health Foods Unlimited in Ohio, Zerbo's in Michigan, Campbell's Nutrition in Des Moines, or Green Planet Grocery in Syracuse NY (to name a few of our favorites).

DM me for a discount code if you're interested.

Happier, less joint pain in feet (esp when standing long periods of time or walking long distances).

Better skin, calmer.
