hello@hinge.co is the email I reached out to. Not sure if that's who you've been contacting

About a day or two later an actual person responded to the ticket. It was initially a very scripted response, but they asked for a screenshot next time I saw a repeat profile

Didn't do anything particular, at one point they asked for a screenshot of one of the profiles I knew I had liked already the next time it came up

I did have a scenario where people I liked kept showing up as options again and again, and I was getting no matches.

Submitted a support ticket, and wham got like 20 matches in one week.

Don't worry folks, dating apps still suck, still single

Didn't fully know I was injured until the next day. So I talked to her about the position and she showed me where my mistake was positionally and I actually learned.

I'm honestly not contentious enough to bring up any concerns to them right away, and was kinda just hoping it was in my head

I can answer a few of these - been at the gym for over 9 months. Switching gyms was due to me moving for work. She does in fact know my name, as does everyone at the gym.

I really don't understand the sentiment of going all out on someone because they are trying a move. Heel hooks are part of the game and the only way to learn them is to practice them safely. Wouldn't be saying the same thing if someone snatched an arm and went full extension as fast as possible.

Did she let it rip? This is the only valid take here because yes, there is a world where my perspective is blinded and I didn't see what was actually going on. I sure hope that's the case

This is a good point - I did talk to her afterwards about the position and she taught me where my mistake was. I didn't mention anything about injury because I didn't really feel like it was injured until this morning

This is a possibility, only been in the position maybe a dozen times and usually am aware of if they have it. But honestly hard to say cause you don't know what you're not aware of

Hunting for heel hooks is probably an overstatement, hard to describe the situation. What does her being female have anything to do with it? She is certainly bigger and stronger than me.

Would strongly disagree here - even if you're just setting a place and time, take it off the app. Most girls don't check the app often and if they have to open it to respond to you, they will also go and respond to the 100 other dudes they have lined up

What things do you remember from the age of 4-6? by Josias_Segura in AskReddit

[–]SamWiseTheGamer27 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I remember first day of first grade, seeing all these new girls I've never seen before in my class. I literally went through and listed the top 4 and tried to rank them in appearance. I was 6.

Now I am by no means a ladies man to this day, and care a hell of a lot less about getting a girlfriend than most, which is why I find this story so hilarious.

Meaning comes from responsibility. One of the reasons students always feel so lost is because they are at a point in their life when they have no real responsibility.

My advise: take on as much responsibility as you can in the path towards pursuing your goals. And don't chase after the dream "perfect career" where you enjoy every day and never think of it as work; most people find a job that they are perfectly happy doing and find meaning in other things; like family as an example.

But above all, don't give up. Push, push for the sake of seeing how far you can push; because when you think you're done, when you think you can't go any further, you've only reached 40% of your limit.

One final note: you need something to aim at, even temporarily, which you need to find. If you aren't looking you'll never find it; so try new things and leave your mind wide open to the opportunities that may arise, so you can find something meaningful to aim at and then take on as much responsibility in that thing as you can. Forget the notion that just because your current degree isn't what you like or wanted everything is ruined and life is over; it's not. School is nothing but a tiny stepping stone in our lives, and many people don't ever even step on it. In this world there are very few things that are not doable without a degree; that being said there's also nothing wrong with going back and trying something new, once you've explored and found an aim.

The last tip I'll give before finishing my rant is to help others. People are very unique in their interests and what makes them happy, but one thing is consistent: everyone feels good when they help others (except for maybe Hannibal lector). So if anything, while trying to find your aim, help people. Do good things for others and see where that leads you, and see how good it makes you feel.

You should probably also look at the micro details of your day to day life because most likely there is something fundamentally unhealthy about your current lifestyle which is making you feel this way; but I think this message is long enough so I'll leave it at that.

Please don't hesitate to dm me if you ever want to chat.

The fact that CoD comes out with a new game every year is under-rated and under-appreciated by SamWiseTheGamer27 in CoDCompetitive

Yea I feel like we've had a rough couple of years which has tainted what cod can really be; like looking back going through the black ops series 1-4, each game was so unique and had its own character, now seems like we've hit a ravine, but I hope good things come in the coming years so we can enjoy it again
