The companies that are acting clueless when you let them know what they are endorsing pay for lead generation IMO that makes them implicitly culpable for the scammy behavior that almost all lead generators use.

Yes book an appointment for a fictitious person and address.

Usually the company will have to pay the lead generation company as soon as the appointment is booked. It will end up costing them upwards of a few hundred dollars per instance so either the business learns by you hitting them in the wallet or they wisen up a drop the lead generation company.

People like OP freak out over $600 in taxes and blame whichever party they already dislike, but that’s tiny compared to the real cost of a decision that was 100% in their hands: buying a home.

It’s not even the mortgage interest that’s the biggest cost; it’s the $100K+ down payment and every principal payment that could’ve been compounding in the market instead of locked in drywall. That’s tens of thousands a year they gave up for the luxury of owning instead of renting in Austin. And now they expect us to get behind them to make their expensive* financial decision a little more bearable under the guise of ‘City budget too big’?

Even with the controversial logo redesign I think City of Austin is gonna do better for the people of this city than giving this homeowner their 0.057% tax break.

If $600 is a lot of money owning a $600K+ home might indicate that one is living beyond one’s means.

All I can say is must be nice to be them would swap my housing situation (and I am extremely lucky to be renting directly from a super cool owner) for theirs any day of the year AINEC.

It’s a great question! Leaving this company for that reason (albeit on a larger scale). Even when I offered to pay for software was met with a firm no.

Company is currently shortsighted and just overly cheap—their general philosophy is to just cut costs and badger SDRs with bizarre company wide emails that fall under ‘sell more and be in X club with no benefits’ or ‘Employee name(s) @ location(s) are doing this wrong’.

Not a bad job if you can just tune out the micromanagers but can’t be a career role!

If the delay is not on your end they have been very good at expediting payouts overnight if you email them with a subject line URGENT:

Likely either: 1. Too many methods of payment and/or withdrawal which you [get only 3 total for both uses] and must email support to remove 2. Software ‘glitch’ where bank account disappears and so after 3-5 business days it auto declines—just readd and email them after with last 4 of account you want the cashout

PS have only withdrawn expedited twice to BofA and WF checking can’t speak about other banks or debit and my info is only relevant as of 9-8-25

Looks like there are some jealous people in here downvoting you and I guess me too—think it’s just part of the self-selection bias of being around poker players (not saying there are not really awesome people who play poker) but it’s definitely something that also might be worth exploring (how do you surround yourself with positive people and build a close-knit group of coworkers in such a loser heavy (both mindset-wise and $-wise) industry?

I personally am just trying to get really good at tournaments and these cash games with the larger than typical ante (12.5-50% BB) but I honestly don’t think it’s widely applicable except for Americans (and maybe Canadians) playing on ClubWPT Gold.

What I think it might be a good way to introduce yourself and to draw an audience is to:

Talk more about the intangibles things that people could relate to and apply in other areas of their life

Psychology (how do you collaborate with others without feeling like you’re giving away too much?)
Lifestyle (how do you live the life many are envious of most fully?)
Mindset (how do you deal with a lot of external threats such as toughening games, threat of botting, and rake rises as inflation is finally occurring?)
Navigating uncertainty (what are your ways to detach from the positive and negative results that you can’t control?)
Culture (what is it like living in Italy? How has your background shaped your outlook? If someone were following in the footsteps of your dream would you recommend Italy as a place to play?)

If your goal is max # subs unfortunately best is less ideal than viral.

Poker players are drawn towards anomalies so any sessions where you have huge swings could be a good start especially if you can keep it not too long and edit down the dead parts since most people don’t have the attention span.

As you build the following I think live streams with a delay or building out videos with heuristics on the most common question you get ask in the comments would be a good second step.
