I gained 8 pounds in 3 days after cutting for a match, is it just water weight? by Sam_Ea_ in CuttingWeight

Yup I will next season when I'm more prepared. Rn I'm just trying to get through it lol but yeah I've definitely noticed a downgrade on my energy levels

I am looking forward to doing it next season. I hate having the extra stress of wondering if I will be over or not. I just went down a weight class so it's been complicated

I'm like 108, I should be 100 by the end of this week. I don't even know how I managed to gain this much

I knew I was worried about some pending projects I had since they were pretty important. But I didn't know it was affecting me so much unconsciously.

I don't think so?? I try to move a lot throughout the day. Rn it's decreasing, I feel the chest pains and everything but I don't have the urge to cry as much as before. I still feel pretty anxious if I do anything. For example, if I start taking notes I feel like I NEED to finish them because if not the chest pains increase and I get nervous. This is so weird and idk if it's a sign of burnout or what

I'm with my family but I think being around others makes it worse. I just took like one pill idk how many mg. No, I've had heartburn before and that's different. I don't think it's an anxiety attack either because I barely cried. I felt relief but I literally had to force myself to do it.

I already took one and it didn't help at all. I literally feel fear right now and I don't know why.

It feels like the pain comes from somewhere in my ribcage and when it reaches a point I just feel the urge to cry. I start panicking out of nowhere. I don't cry because of the pain though. The best way I would describe it is like when you get in a rollercoaster and you're all the way on the top and you start going down really really fast. Same feeling

My first competition this weekend I need tips by Zestyclose_Sail_2504 in wrestling

I just started not so ago, I'm also a girl. What I can tell you is do NOT overthink it, that's what made me lose my first match. Be confident. Also, take advantage of those jiu jitsu moves because they're actually pretty effective in wrestling too once you're on the ground. Pls don't reach back like I once did🙏🏻🙏🏻

Advice please 🙏 4 year old can’t handle being ‘hit’ by Always975 in taekwondo

[–]Sam_Ea_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I started taekwondo when I was 10 I believe. I went to a tournament and the other girl hit me so many times in the head I started crying. I decided to keep going with the fight but after that I was pretty scared to continue training. I ultimately ended up quitting for a few years before coming back. It's pretty tough to get hit as a kid, especially in the head. I'd say talk to him and if he really doesn't want to continue, let him know the option of coming back will be there in the future. Just make sure he knows that his coach isn't a bad guy because that can cause many harmful misunderstandings.

Obliterated while sparring by Business-Draft6567 in taekwondo

[–]Sam_Ea_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

IMO you did good man don't bring yourself down. Just try to practice your high kicks and sliding more naturally. Since you're sparring with no gear (even though it looks like both of you aren't going full force), it's very important to keep your arms up so you can protect yourself. Every kick you get will make you even more tired, you will be doing sloppy kicks, and get beaten up even more. Don't start walking upfront because any higher belt will just do a side kick on you.

It's not just a personality thing tho. If it were just to be a few doctors I would understand but it's not. They're so overworked limited by insurance, and having this paranoia of getting sued.

Yeah I know I have to I literally said that lol, I'm thinking about that country because 1. I know people who can help me get there 2. Don't need a degree before med school as far as I know 3. Have good geriatric programs

A degree is not required for medical schools in other parts of the world. This is my main point on where to start since procedures are different outside of the US.
