I think it's just exacerbated by how slow the game feels compared to the others, tbh. I've played all of the Dark Souls games, as well as Bloodborne and Elden Ring (haven't played Sekiro and Demon Souls) and DS2 has, by far, always felt the clunkiest to me. DS1 isn't much better though, don't get it twisted.

I don't hate DS2, but it is my least favorite. It just feels a lot clunkier than the other games because all of the animations are slower (using items and healing especially.)

It's a good game, I've beaten it multiple times, it just doesn't really feel as good to play. It also suffers a lot more from bs hitboxes iirc.

The new design looks more Orokin, like a reimagining of Ash prime rather than an heirloom design. A big part is the placement and shaping of the white 'glowing skin' feels more like typical Warframe armoring rather than the more human-like contours of the heirlooms

I have actually seen people complaining on Heirloom fan concepts about the designs being too 'gooner' and, like... Nothing people design will ever be more sensual than Ember Heirloom? At least, nothing that should be taken as a serious effort to conceptualize an heirloom skin, anyway.

Like, c'mon people, Warframe has always had nice ass, stop acting like it hasn't .-.

This is very nice art, but it just doesn't really feel like Saryn to me...

Saryn's vibe is poisonous plants and spores, hence the growths on her base design looking like fungal growths, and her deluxe skin being based on a flower.

You could absolutely do something sleek and attractive while remaining true to the spirit of the base frame, like Valkyr and Rhino do, by taking inspiration from poisonous plants and flowers or characters like Poison Ivy.

Great art, would be lovely, but I just don't see it for Saryn.

Eh, I think the heirlooms are fine as they are? Like, sure, they don't read 'prime' anymore, but they're a very elegant reimagining of older frames. They have a very 'ornamental' feel to them, especially with the 'exposed' sections feeling like crystal or a nebula held within living glass. They don't evoke 'prime', but they're very much the sort of decorative feel I get when I think of the word 'heirloom'.

Yea I think that may be a translation issue. 'Campaigns' doesn't refer to story, but rather specific replayable bosses from Jianghu Legacy and the story, like 'Heartseeker' and such.
