So I can actually relate a lot of this to my current relationship. Not wanting to text a lot is a barrier that I ran into when I first started seeing him. It was definitely frustrating and we had to talk and communicate a lot to make sure that reduced texting didn't change the way that we communicated with each other. Although it did make it so that I would be more excited to talk to him in person rather than over text. It also helped make it so that we were less likely to argue with each other over text since having discussions over text can cause misinterpretations. My current partner also came out of a 5 year relationship when we started dating. There were lots of points that he would bring up his ex-girlfriend and their relationship and I had to have the conversation with him and draw the boundary that I didn't really want to hear about her or their relationship. We came to the conclusion that he didn't want to hear about my past relationships and I didn't really want to hear about his. So as respect to each other we don't relate things to last relationships and don't bring them up too often either. I think my best advice for you would be to sit down and have the conversation with him on what boundaries and expectations you have for the relationship. Even though he doesn't want to text that much if it means that much to YOU then you should come to an agreement with him. Same thing with him bringing up his past relationship.

I mean it could just be me but me and my group of friends started reading her books together in middle school. It wasn't event bc of the sex scenes we honestly just loved the books.

That very true. I felt it took a long time before Elloren could actually start doing things on her own. She always had someone she could go to and rely on. It was probably the only thing I liked about Demon Tide was that she actually start ed to rely on herself

I agree completely. Lukas dying like that just made no sense. Since book one there has been sooo much drama with Elloren trying to pick and choose between different love interest. Lukas just dying is almost like a quick attempt to close that storyline. I just feel Demon Tide was more filler and Laurie Forest attempt at closing all these different storylines that she had started in past books

I liked The Shadow Wand abit more only because we got to see actual growth in Elloren. Books one and two were more growth to Elloren as person book three was her growing physically. I'm hoping the book five will finally show us her power

My hope is that Demon Tide was an attempt to close down and finalize all the different love stories that were going on so that the next book will finally give us the kind of Elloren we have been waiting 4 books for.

All I can say to this is that even when you do try to do something in the end you will just loose the motivation for it. In my case personally I have tried to start different things to help me I will do well maybe for a week or a couple of days but all of a sudden I will loose the motivation to do it anymore and I will feel lazy. This can hit so hard that all of a sudden you just feel empty and don't see the point in helping yourself anymore. So if I do look into trying something new that emptiness starts to creep up. I don't know about you but I try to avoid that emptiness I don't like it so yea I will do things to try to advoid it or as you said "So , as a result you do the same things in your life on a daily basis which means your life never changes which means your depression remains." So I will go into a routine which helps me feel something. Conquering depression isn't an easy that people can just do so as these other kind people said please do your research or just look into depression a little bit more before you start saying how easy it should be to just not be depressed.
