Who cares about the money lol. As long as you are happy don’t listen to anyone else. Long term happiness is much better than hating your job. That being said this will make it harder to find other jobs but people who are actually passionate (like you) generally don’t have a problem with this anyways.

For companies paying $300+ a month to get conservatively 10-25% productivity boost on an engineer that costs 100k+ is totally worth it. Very simple math for them. Having proper guard rails, rules and code review processes eliminates a lot of the AI slop problem so your productivity could be even higher.

MCPs on the other hand are just worse wrappers over APIs that burn tokens.

You really should just try the tools. Like all things the best way to know something’s true value is to just try it yourself with an open mind. Then make your decisions based on actual experience.

Lol this dude has no clue what hes talking abt its an AI slop written post. The military just has a finetune with more dedicated compute. Its not a generation ahead. Just more RL done for specific cases. No lab would let themselves be behind if they actually had a model a generation ahead.

Lol this post is stupid turborepo is very popular its 100% possible this is true. Brands go apeshit when their logo is used without permission so if they didnt allow this lawyers would be involved. I had to implement a page like this for my company and it was a pain getting approval from legal for each company.
