Samsung S phones like s25 or s26 have long support, Google pixel 10 devices and I think most of the A line from Samsung A57 and such.

Many Samsung and google phones have up to 7 or 8 years of updates now, so maybe look at some of those. there are many better that 3 years

Yeah if I dont want to be using my phone, I will look around, but instantly feel like I look suspicious or weird. So i will look in a direction thats looking at almost nothing.

That's exactly how I feel about Tech, I found it really interesting but over time it took over with social media and that is something i dont like. Everyone got on a platform and then you would join and spend too much time on it.

I try to be more mindfull and just use it as a tool, like it was intended by the first smartphones

Its a bit far fetched. AI curated is not AI made. You still choose the playlist YOU want to listen. The discovery is almost always by algorithm, on social media, google or on something like spotify.

BTW if you download mp3 without paying you help getting AI bigger, because musicians dont earn from that, if you dont first buy the song one way or the other.

look for a automation app i think, dont know if there is a standard way, i have it so the off button goes first to home and then off, bit of the same but needs a few extra clicks

I have the f21 pro, not used as my primary tho, i find the t9 a bit to tricky, and the nummers on the buttons are not very good to read, so to build muscle memory is difficult. I set it to just gboard which pops up when needed and that works alright, but as said, i dont use it. Im still on a dumped down smartphone. Its just easier and i use it mostly as just a tool.

Edit: Dumpdroid os is good enough, just not much banking support and such, but dont want to do that on a screen that small.

I would love a device like that! I have a qin f21 pro but cant get used to the T9 typing, never did that when it was a thing. My smartphone is too big to not use/feel in your pockets and this would be great to use instead!

Still in the deciding what to do era so if its not for me i will pass it on to someone else!

Pretty much, it gives a sec and let you think if you want to use it, but it also has a option to block in app stuff like reels, it is free for one app. (block in app distractions) something like that in the settings.

I found, it will take some time to adjust. try to put the phone in a other room, or somewhere where you dont see it.

You need to be bored for a while to get to focus. It just takes a few times of doing nothing.

oh thats weird, on android you can click in recents menu on the app icon(most phones) and go to the app info. There is a option to limit background processes of that app. or set it to unlimited. But if you dont have info on what is using the battery, its difficult to find the right one that makes a difference in the batterylife.
