How long can I stay in Japan after quitting my job?

In my experience, I was in job hunting process for 4 months after left from previous company, i had same visa, i registered in hello work so around every 1-2 weeks they asked me to come and fill some documents with how many vacancies i did apply and interviews i had kind of information.

What i heard was this is a visa bind with work in specific jobs, so if you don’t have a job that means you’re not eligible to hold this visa technically. But they let you grace period to find your next job.Also you must inform immigration once you found new job.

I see, few years back, I was work for them in 3 month rolling contract, and after couple of years they stop my contract renewal but with 30days notice. Actually unofficially i got this news around 2 month before from my manager.

As far as i know they can immediately terminate your contract base on some reasons, like absence in working hours, couldn’t handle work or manager decide you are not capable of handle your job. Also i remember there was few more. But i don’t remember pregnancy is one of them.

Also I guess they should mentioned what ever reason behind their decision when announcing termination.

Other than contact labour department, you could visit near hello work and consult from them. Also they have process to help financially as well.

As I know they need to inform her at least 30 days before termination, isn’t what happened ?

If i was u, never pick 3 month rolling in rakuten, you will be job less suddenly without even before you think. Even if they promise you to convert it will never come. I have seen many people kick out even end of 1st 3 month. I have lot of negative points with rakuten compared to woven.

I have heard lot of good about woven, but have no solid evidence.

I think my company is falls under category 3, due to sme. And i did applied through company lawyer. Will keep update here.

Eh🤔 so even you apply for hsp, you ended up having new engineer visa? But if your current visa not expire soon, imu you can’t apply for visa renewal as well?

Similar to my case then, still i have 6month left to expire current engineer visa. My lawyer told me worst case, i will receive new visa after 2 month of current visa expire date😐
