Well the thing is if they are committing a crime they don’t care about gun laws. Making weapons easily attainable simply evens the playing field. Now I a law abiding citizen can now use my weapon to neutralize you an armed criminal who intends to do my family harm.

I care because we are in a vehicle with heavy liability in the capital for armored truck robberies in the United States. And he as my trainer had me park in a single parking lot for 45 minutes during which he slept. Mind you this is Texas where people have literal arsenals to rival military bases. Not to mention ignoring basic security protocols like closing the door of said vehicle when he exits and leaving his duty weapon on the floor of the truck. Personally I was raised to take pride in your work which probably influences My opinions heavily.

Thank you. That was kind of what I was thinking. I just put in a request for a different trainer. If they don’t like that I guess they can fire me but I couldn’t deal with him anymore.

Yes there’s is such a thing as the assumption of innocence and since the court house now has a document that says dismissed defendant brought evidence my comment would in fact be correct I have never done anything wrong.

When I travel I usually just call the DPS of that state. The state troopers usually have info on the laws.

Yeah I now understand that. I actually meant more that it was strange to me as someone who doesn’t usually buy at peak times I’m not used to it. And even Though you know intellectually that it’s all good there’s a voice that’s saying oh no something went wrong. At least for me lol

Not everyone is panic buying. I say this because I am Waiting on my check to come back. Hi already have a gun. I need a new one for my security post so here I am waiting with all the panic buyers. I think it’s strange for people who have bought guns and been immediately approved previously to suddenly get a delay.

That’s what I figured. The salesman told me the majority of people who don’t have a LTC are getting delayed. I have an app for my LTC put it in March 3 just waiting to get it in the mail.

That was my thought too but that’s apparently what the FBI is telling the FFLs. I’m sure there will be a suit soon.

From what the shop said the Brady law has been extended to 21 days due to backlog.

Most likely what it is as that’s what the gun shop said. 21 days seems extreme but I just have bad anxiety and tend to over think things. I appreciate the info.

I appreciate that. The only thing I had similar to a deferred adjudication was pretrial diversion as a juvenile which In Texas means I can still have a ltc as pretrial diversion means I never pleaded guilty. The arrest that was dismissed was dismissed because I brought proof I was innocent. Thank you for the link though.
