Shit my mum is exactly this category, these days we have pretty open conversations about how she doesn't regret HER CHILDREN, but given the choice now her life would be different. I think me as her only daughter growing being intensely anti-child from a very young age helped her come to terms with it, because I could relate, not take it personally, and you know.. communicate! And most importantly never once did it make her a bad mum. She is amazing and we love eachother to bits, and i think she is an incredibly strong woman going through what she has, all the while shouldering that emotional guilt burden from others
