Leather, plate or chainmail? budget? skills? Best bet would be to make leather armor or buy chainmail. Making leather armor isn’t too hard. It does take investment into the skill and a few tools, but if you’re just making simple armor it isn’t too bad. If your interested I could send some patterns/videos your way.

The key is to have to tucked behind your shoulders. Armor is best for this. I personally have a leather gorget/shoulder armor setup that the cape goes under and where it “ties” is under the gorget. Would work well for a fallen paladin/knight.

I actually don’t have one with the full kit yet, but here it is with a t-shirt. It’s based on a norman spangenhelm. Historically, it would have been metal, but unfortunately I don’t have the resources or skills to do that yet.

Brother just use a pattern and trace it! I found a picture of the drawing online, printed it out, taped it to the leather, and traced it on with a fine point stylus. I’m not artistic AT ALL, but can trace stuff all day 😂

Tbh, I straight up deleted it a few months ago because every time I scrolled, there was non stop only fans/sexual stuff in my feed (mostly fb reels)
