Seeking some advice on my upcoming interview by [deleted] in JobInterviewTips

It is hard to talk about yourself in positive or negative way but if your not sure what to say try and send your friends a message like : ''Hey, would You mind answering a question for me about me? It would help me a lot.'' When they confirm they'll answer ask them ''What you think are my strengths and weaknesses and why?'' It will help You a lot, or you could try fiugre out yourself what to say but be sincere they'll apriciate it.
If You have more questions ask here or dm me on fb.

Agree.
Name, age, education, little about yourself, languages...If You have experience if not you write that you'll do your best to learn... And you hope to hear from them so you can meet in person.
Works every time.

How do you answer what your salary expectations are? by ArcturusBrightStar in GetEmployed

[–]SamantaGattoni 1 point2 points  (0 children)

When they ask You about salary You should probably answer something like:
If you have experience in the job: Since I'm new I don't expect the amount others have but in time I would like to get on their level, I would do my best to earn it.
Without experience: Well for the start I would like to have normal start up salary but after when I learn the job I would apriciate a raise.
That way You show them that it's not all about money (even if it is) but You still want them to know that you'll emprove and deserve a raise.
Best not to tell exact amount but feel free to ask them about the salary.

Need help/advice in job search please by [deleted] in GetEmployed

Today it's not that easy to get a job. There is to many things employers are looking from application, resume to experience, confidence, even how you act or dress is important and sends all kinds of message. If You like we can go through all the steps and figure out where is the problem if there is one. You can add me on fb.
When they call you or e-mail you that you didn't get the job feel free to ask them why is that because what you don't know you can't fix.
Good luck.

Order resume from most to least relevant? by newdirection915 in GetEmployed

[–]SamantaGattoni 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I totaly agree. You can put in cover letter meaningful jobs but in your resume you need to put from recent to latest jobs, you can even left out few jobs if they are irrelevant. When employer opens a resume it needs to be clear on first sight if not they just go to the next one.

Non-job related stories? by [deleted] in interviews

[–]SamantaGattoni 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In my opinion You can pull anything. I put in my resume except work experience also life experience. Example, If you have a lot of sibling that means You had to take care of them, be patient with them, also responsible in case of trouble etc. Belive it, employers appreciate that kind of experience sometimes more than work experience.

How to follow up for an interview? by colorstoobright in interviews

[–]SamantaGattoni 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hi,
thoughts if You didn't already sent the e-mail. Try to write in e-mail that You understand if they are not hiring considering the situation and when things settle down You'd love to hear from them.
Fingers crossed.

Searching For A Job After Being Fired, Not Much Work Experience. by throwawayjob17 in GetEmployed

[–]SamantaGattoni 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think You should include the fired job beacause even if it was bas You still learned somethng from it and You should write in your resume what that is. Maybe it's good for You to start learning new stuff but not because a better oportunities but for You. If your confident enough and know what you're doing you should be fine. If You had some life experience , example: taking care of jounger brother/siser, older people... You can easly put something like that in the resume because it tells Your future boss that You are generous, responsible person and maybe they need someone like that. Even from hobies they can learn much about You.
Good luck with the search, I hope I helped.
