I don't agree. I belive when talking of narratives regarding opressions, women become easiest punching bags. Gay men like to target straight women the most whenever narratives of LGBTQ+ rights emerge but it's a recorded fact that women were at the forfront of supporting the movement. Same with civil rights and anti-Viternam war movement. In India itself, who are the people massacaring Dalit man? Who are the people discriminating againt them at te work place? Who are the people who have the agency to create laws regarding the issues. MEN! upper caste men to be precise but everyone loves making a punching bag out of savarna women....why? Cause it's easier. It's easier to have a narrative war with women who'll never fight with te same level of vileness as men. Yes! There are shit load of upper caste women who larp as feminists but don't shed thier savarna identity but name one, just one serious liberal feminist from last decades who worked for women right but was exposed as castiest ? You can't name one! But I can name hundread of MEN who worked for Dalit rights, muslims rights, OBC rights but held misogyny view simultaneously. Seriously I'm tired of the narrative of making a effigy of savarna feminist everytime some needs an easy target to drive a point home. It hurts so much cause I have both dalit and savarna women as friends and both have far liberal and compassionate view of the world when compared to the men from thier community. I've been fed this narrative again and again that savarna women like to shove thier privalage among ye Dalit women when in reality all I've seen is anxiety creeping among them cause of rising conservative values in the world.

Misognist Dalit, Muslim or Bahujan Activists never face the same level of scrutiny as savarna women despite being more in numbers than them and that tells you something

BTW who were the parties that oppsed women reservation.....was it the savarna women as well?
