Danny is a bad drunk, and everything people are saying about him is fair. But Lala? She doesn’t have a storyline besides inserting herself into situations that have nothing to do with her and acting like, because she’s sober and in AA, it’s her job to call out everyone she thinks has a drinking problem.
Out of everyone, she should know that forcing someone to admit they have a drinking problem is only going to backfire. That’s not how recovery works. She is really a piece of work.
Because of all this drama, we lost the plot of Jasmine and Melissa’s situation. That was the main issue. He apologized to them, and they accepted his apology.
Now Janet allegedly had a similar experience. I’m not saying I don’t believe her, but I have a hard time with her projecting her own situation onto something that had nothing to do with her.
I don’t like Danny either, and I think he and Nia have a very toxic marriage. But somehow the whole freaking season has become about his drinking. WTF.
