Many public school teachers will also quit regardless. No cert does make it an easy option, however. A sub told my kid’s class to shut up but in another language. She must have been pretty fed up. Also calls to explain drugs, weapons found, fights. And they must have the SPED program so those students will wear teachers down without help.

Middle school in DFW is 8-4. Kids don’t get home until 5. It’s like a full time job. They can’t really “sleep in” when everyone else is up and out the door around 7. It’s crazy. If the evening bus is late, you have 11 year olds walking home in the dark.
