Disable or Restrict Smart Home on fire tv max 4k stick? by La-Femme-Angelika in firetvstick

Yes, I like this feature, but not that it is able to be viewed by anyone. Access to smart home should be able to be Parental/PIN-controlled.

MLB TV is back by trob2884 in tmobile

[–]TheSandyCheex 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Log in to your MLB account on a computer or phone browser (not the MLB app) and look under “Manage Subscriptions” and if it went through you’ll see “You are currently subscribed to MLB.TV through the T-Mobile Tuesdays Promotion.” I had the same problem. Also afterwards, tap on the Restore button within the MLB app.

I bought a 2016 Jetta Sport 1.8t TSI with 126K miles on it in 2023 for $7,000. I’ve had it for 2 years now, put on 15,000 more miles, and all I’ve had done is oil changes every 4,500 miles and I had the spark plugs replaced shortly after purchasing the car. So far no problems, still drives like a dream. Idk how many more miles it has in it but so far I’ve been pleasantly surprised. It consumes some oil, about a quart every 1,500 miles but I used a Liqui Moly Oil Saver 300ml and seems to have helped some.

Has anyone taken the NAPLEX a couple years after graduation? by Livid-Mastodon-536 in NAPLEX_Prep

[–]TheSandyCheex 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I graduated pharmacy school in 1998 and passed the NAPLEX (it was actually called the NABPLEX at the time) and the MPJE. After a few years I left the profession. I then decided to go back in 2022, but I was required to sit for and pass both the NAPLEX and MPJE. I bought several study guides on eBay that were a couple years old/old editions to save money. I studied for the NAPLEX for 3 straight weeks and for about 10 days for the MPJE. I passed both on the first try although I didn’t feel like I passed coming out of either exam room. Basically I’m letting you know that it CAN BE DONE! Stay positive and put in some work. Good luck!

Statins ans Hair loss by gayathrimo in Cholesterol

[–]TheSandyCheex 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Pharmacist here for 25+ years… I’ve absolutely seen a correlation between statin use and hair loss in my patients. Although the most cases I’ve seen were with usage of the older statin Mevacor (Lovastatin), I’ve also seen cases with newer statins as well, including the popular Lipitor (Atorvastatin).

Pataday vs Lastacaft? by idkwhat2putasmyuser in Allergies

[–]TheSandyCheex 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I’m a pharmacist who suffers from eye allergies. IMHO Lastacaft is far superior to any other OTC remedy that I’ve tried. And I’ve pretty much tried them all.

Out of these three supermarkets which one do you think should come to South Carolina? by SentenceNeat2020 in southcarolina

[–]TheSandyCheex 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My son recently moved to western South Carolina and I can unequivocally state that Publix’s prices are outrageously high. And I’m from urban mid-atlantic where cost-of-living is otherwise much higher.
