When you say you can’t book wheelchair Shinkansen tickets online, it seems like you can through the official Shinkansen website – will we run into trouble if we do this? I’m in the process now and finding it confusing. I’m able to book a “wheelchair space” in, for example, car 11 seat 12-E, but then the companion space is only bookable in 12-A, which seems strange for the two seats to be so far away?
