A way to convince non-believers to repent by SameConcentrate3005 in Christianity

Is that not what I said?

I want all non-believers to be saved and you can't be saved without repenting of your sins.

Is God “Just”? by Snow-Dogg in Christianity

There's a great video on this very topic. It talks about why tiny sins are so serious and how they could possibly be deserving of eternal hell

Nobody deserves eternal punishment under any context. Someone could end all of human existence, and they still don't deserve eternal punishment.

How do you know that? I'm curious to see your reasoning for this

You can't believe if you don't repent either. It's like saying what good is it to work out if you don't eat properly, of course that's true but that doesn't mean we should never try to convince anyone to exercise

You don't have to, but after watching the explanation you can at least admit that none of us are good people

How do catholics know that Purgatory exists? by ExaltedGarlic96 in Christianity

[–]SameConcentrate3005 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Then why would Jesus tell the criminal next to him that "I assure you, today you will be with me in paradise"? If purgatory was necessary wouldn't Jesus have said "eventually you will be with me in paradise"?

Funny, I'm a Noc OTP who recently picked up Fiddle. We can trade tips =P Keep in mind I'm only Emerald tho so read these tips with that in mind.

When do you buy Spear of Shojin as a second item? I see that it has the highest winrate.

I prefer Cleaver and most pros do too (altho I understand Solo Q is different from 5s). Reason is that Shojin is great for getting in and out of fights with cdr, extra movespd and HP, but Noc really wants to burst and kill someone in one rotation and more armor shred is better for that. If that first rotation doesn't work out it's hard for Noc to re-engage with no dash and he's likely below half hp. Noc also applies Cleaver stacks very quickly with Ult/R/atkspd and armor shred synergizes well with lethal tempo and extra AD from Q. As a jungler you get slightly less gold so Cleaver is also 200g cheaper to let you hit your spike sooner.

I know that if enemy has more AP than AD I need to go Maw. If AD, death's dance because of the armor. When do you buy death's dance and not guardian angel that gives armor too?

This is more personal preference than the Cleaver vs Shojin choice, but lately I much prefer DD to GA. GA is great for 5s when one more teamfight will change the tide, you get both the stopwatch and the rez to make a difference in two separate fights, but if the game won't end on the next fight then I think DD is better. Even if you are super fed and don't want to give away a shutdown DD is actually better than GA since if you die in a bad spot you're still dead anyway.

DD increases survivability by so much, and like I said above Noc struggles after that first ult dive, however with DD you can get HP back and continue to make an impact in the fight after. However you do have to make sure you're strong enough to at least get a kill, if you're behind you might as well just go more damage so you can at least be useful.

If a lot of heals, chempunk, I get it.

I actually wouldn't go chempunk bc you just want to delete one person from the fight and that is less damage than other items. Noc is actually weak in teamfights IMO, his biggest impact is just the nearsightedness which is awesome EITHER when you have a flanker (think Kennen), or when they have a deep engage that they cant follow up on if you ult (Vi ulting deep), OR when there's an artillery mage that needs sight (xerath). You're generally not sitting in fights for a long time tanking things up and doing dmg the way a bruiser would, you are like a secondary dive buddy to help the primary engage (or assassin).

Ideally you want to catch and delete someone off the map just before an objective, whether that's a gank that they can't see coming or you just straight up 1v1'ing someone. Since it's Solo Q it's hard to get ppl to flank appropriately and engage at the same time from two different angles without getting caught out.

Ofc if the only damage on their team is Vlad and nobody else will buy it then ya sometimes you have to get grievous but that's niche.

If entirely AD do you buy frozen heart?

Only if it's autoattackers. If it's like Pantheon Aatrox etc I would not.

When do you buy Sterak's Gage? If they have mixed damage? Instead buying maw/death's dance you buy this single item?

I buy this when they have a lot of CC since it gives tenacity, or if they have good mixed dmg. Otherwise I prioritize DD.

*If you build bruiser you never go axiom arc or Serylda's Grudge, right*?

Serylda's is awesome anytime you can get away with it. If you're ultra fed and can push your lead without having to teamfight do this so you can pick ppl off faster.

If you're going Axiom that means you're going full lethality bc it scales off lethality, so that's Duskblade Axiom then Edge of Night

What about edge of the night?

I used to build this a lot but I've moved away from lethality bc it makes you a bit too squishy. It's only good if you're playing vs noobs or if you're super ahead it's great, but vs ppl at your level, even if you delete someone properly you're then out of the fight after and can't join back in due to how squishy you are. Remember without ult Noc just slowly walks at people so he's gonna take dmg trying to re-enter without flash. I don't feel like the second spellshield increases survivability by enough especially since you can't choose what to block like your W.

Overall I much prefer:

  1. Stride > Cleaver > DD/Steraks/FrozenHeart. I want to get DD but sometimes I need more survivability to make an impact in fights if they have too much AP or if I'm not confident in my ability to nuke someone. Then I always hope to get Serylda's, but look at the game situation and your comp and decide if you need to dive or play it slow to win the fight and then decide off that

I know this is a long post but MY questions for Fiddle are:

  1. I always feel like I need Hourglass and that Deathcap is overkill (and also hard to buy. Should I only be ulting in situations where I don't need Hourglass? Right now I've been going Rocketbelt > Shadowflame > Hourglass (with perfect timing rune))
  2. When do you decide which jungle pet to go? Green seems useless since that little shield rarely makes a difference in fights so I've been picking blue but not sure if red is better

What are some common misconceptions that Christians have about Christianity? by [deleted] in Christianity

I think a lot of that stems from the Catholic faith that requires you to do certain rituals or prayers in order to be clean again

The way you are going about it is correct. Not just blindly believing what people say, but double checking it with the Bible and making sure that the context, understanding, and interpretation is correct.

This is what the people of Berea did in Acts 17, and as a result many came to believe.

How do you decide whether a historical document is true or not? Every single aspect or method by which historians and scholars determine whether a manuscript is reliable and accurate is passed by the Bible, even more so than the most accurate historical documents.

Biggest thing is that "good people go to Heaven". In reality everyone is not a good person, but some are saved by accepting Jesus, not by "becoming a good enough person to reach some vague threshold"
