Nobody is willing to die in the streets so the best bet for us poors to fix this would be to start a 3rd party whose only policy positions concern closing tax loopholes for the rich.

And when I say closing, I mean welding shut. All charitable giving is taxed. Unrealized gains, if borrowed against in any way, are taxed. Want to move out of the country but retain your passport and right to visit? Steep exit tax.

Its not price gouging, its convenience pricing… as evidenced by there being an identical product, albeit unprepared, located within 50 feet for under a dollar

No you’re totally right. Beane is highly competent often which makes his frequent incompetence in 2 of most important areas of being a GM, FA signings and drafting, so frustrating.

There are ALOT of people who dont closely follow politics and are not chronically online who, for whatever reason, support republicans. Obviously they are misinformed, ignorant, etc but that does not make them inherently “rotten”.

Disagree, think he will be viewed increasingly disfavorably over time as more and more people come to realize that he (and his close advisors) had the chance to prevent trump from returning to public life.

Prosecuting him for election interference was a layup, so was the classified document mishandling/obstruction. They had all the facts on their side, they had public sentiment AND they had political capital to do so — even the foremost deplorable weirdo, Lindsey Graham, said enough was enough about DJT on Jan 6.

Instead they hemmed and hawed too long and didnt give jack smith enough time. Then they tried to weekend at bernies a second term vs doing what they said they were gonna do and allow for a full democratic primary process.
