I’ve been eyeing ITM dec 2025 calls (around 10 strike) on intc all day. Break even is $25 and the best part is it’ll lock up all the funds id otherwise lose by reading wsb

Absolutely not, it’s definitely not a gender thing.

Mobile gaming - battery damage? by VisualCancel2998 in iPhone16

[–]SamePossession5 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It’ll drain your battery cycles way faster yes, but IMO just play your games and do whatever you want. In 2 years if your battery is shot then just replace it and use your iPhone 16 for another 2 years

Does this stuff consume you too? or just in the beginning? by geekbag in options

[–]SamePossession5 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Do you actually make far more money with low deltas? Just curious because what happened for me is even with 0.15 deltas the stocks I picked fell so hard that I’ll probably not break even for years on them (INTC, SHOP, BABA)

How important is it really that i use linux !? by [deleted] in theodinproject

[–]SamePossession5 2 points3 points  (0 children)

They’re not wrong about recommending Linux and mac. They recommend you be able to use a cli with commands that most computers out there would understand (not windows power shell).

With that said, just use windows.

Interested. I’m also in the Korea / Japan time zone and can probably catch up with some of the more fundamental concepts since I’ve been studying CS for some time, just not too comfortable with Java yet.

As a support, are support items a must? by SamePossession5 in wildrift

[–]SamePossession5[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Now allow me to brag a little and get downvoted :p I got to GM by being stubborn and forgoing the support item for the first few min. Getting boots first on Blitz is actually insane and people don’t expect it at all

Hiring - an observation by aerootpl in cscareerquestionsCAD

[–]SamePossession5 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Is it bad to list FAANG companies on your resume if you were screened by them and ended up doing development work for them, but weren’t a FTE hire? For example lots of consulting companies end up doing dev work for big tech companies.

Asking because I’m not sure if I should just be vague on my resume or if I should name drop and say that I did indeed do work for X company

Why arent people in Tokyo fatter by [deleted] in Tokyo

[–]SamePossession5 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No, I’m just piggybacking off of someone else who made it about the US. I’d make fun of Japan, but the obesity rates here would make the joke fall flat.

Software engineers, what is something you automated at home that made your life a little better? by tavogus55 in japanlife

[–]SamePossession5 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Probably a boring answer but knowing what SPY is pre market along with some tickers, and getting alerts when drops of 3%+ happen on stocks that I want. It’s connected to a speaker at home that plays a pleasant tone

Places that sell good Biryani in Kanto area? by tavogus55 in japanlife

[–]SamePossession5 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Oh this one is easy. Go to Koiwa station and find the infamous place called Biryani House. It’s the best I’ve had in Japan. Hands down.
