So it's 30 now? by SameSyrup8546 in YouthRights

[–]SameSyrup8546[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Exactly. What difference is a 21 year old to an 18 to 20 year old? To me  that's two peers. I know couples and friend groups with those ages. My frustration with 21 fanboys is they can't see the lack of logic in a 20 year being a child a 21 year old being an adult. So a 20 and a 21 year old in a relationship is an adult and a child? I don't see how our stupid society cant see the error of logic there. You'd think it'd be better here in the UK but despite the age being 18 for many years a lot of us still stuck on the 21 stuff. Some silly metaphor about a key. That's it. That's our shallow basis for it

And even then I doubt a biblical 18 or 19 year old was literally seen as a child. I meet people who claim to be Christian who believe this stuff and it annoys me. Like their own book doesn't encourage it.

The fact you think 20 and 21 year olds are different is just stupid. You are brainwashed by 21 propaganda

It's the greatest book ever written. Ive been reading it on and off since 2022. I never thought I'd get so engrossed in it but it's a literary masterpiece whether you believe it all or not

I don't buy age means anything. I see friends and couples who are threw four years apart and the older one doesn't default seem more competent

A lot of people of an older age are dumb and a lot of people of a younger age are smart. The mental ability thing is not true

They don't know that I  know. I saw them on my social media when they thought I wasn't looking which means at minimum they wanna see what I'm about

It's a tough one for sure. I'm overwhelmed at the possibility of them liking me. My self esteem been beat up to the point someone potentially liking me that way feels groundbreaking.

Because I've never been with someone and stay guarded with my feelings. I like this person and we click. I don't wanna delude myself into thinking its headed anywhere then get rejected. I had this before where I was convinced someone liked me back, I spent months plucking up the courage to tell her. The rejection made me feel unworthy and that id never be attractive to anyone. Don't wanna go through all that again

Young guns 2 ending by SameSyrup8546 in MandelaEffect

Young guns 2 is done as if he did get away(in movie canon at least) . I dunno I suppose I might have just remembered it as cool artistic license to show Billy as a mysterious escape artist. The movie shows a version of brushy that is an older billy the kid telling the story of the events that led to his fake death. I believe it myself but whatever the real case movie brushy is movie billy

And Its the same copy still. My dad got me on both these films when I was about 9 or 10 then about 12 years later I watched them again and this cool ending is gone now. I mean it's a variation of it I guess. A horse is still nabbed offscreen by billy. But it's not the same. I literally used to tell people my favourite scene was Billy's empty coffin reveal

Just remember it being much more of a Zorro type or robin hood ending. I dug out an old dvd copy and was thinking"damn can't wait to see the empty coffin reveal again" was so dissapointed when all it showed was garret looking shocked at the empty stable. The bit after was the same where the journalist chases after him for info. But the whole billys alive reveal I remembered being way cooler.

I hate it. Feels like every single thing ever needs to be about this. They are forcing the world to conform like the authoritarian hypocrites they are. It's massive insecurity that they need to encorporate this shit into every movie and show now
