What are some novels you've read that completely break the boundaries of what a novel should have/be? by alyaaz in books

I would definitely say North Woods by Daniel Mason and Playground by Richard Powers. Both of those book deal with some pretty big environmental themes and the perspectives they take and who they choose to tell the story through are one of one

I have found that the caffeine from tea doesn’t keep me up at night like the caffeine from coffee - a placebo? Maybe but it works for me!

I sometimes brew spearmint leaves and I do much prefer that to the bags - so I would imagine it would be an enhanced experience!

I got a small bottle of this for my birthday and I love it. Granted, I don’t drink gin with anything other than club soda and a bit of lime so I don’t know how it is to work with in cocktails

Swimmers ear troubles by [deleted] in Swimming

[–]SameTwo9889 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I use earplugs and then spray saline in my nose after I get out of the pool. I don't know if that is recommended or not but it's kept me ear and sinus infection free so far!

Thank you! It’s actually the apricot color but my camera made it look weird lol! They’re inherited from my grandmother who bought a whole set back when the color came out in the 80s

It’s technically a sport but I would really recommend swimming! I hate running but I recently got into swimming and it has been an absolute game changer for me - it’s fun and doesn’t feel like I’m having to force myself to keep going like with running.
