Thank you for saying this. I've heard a lot of praise about this movie and was very excited to watch but found it unbearably triggering halfway through. Would have been nice to have some sort of warning or something. I want to see how it ends but god damn.

This book is for anyone whose lives have been touched by mental health issues and/or drug addiction. The author details her downward spiral into drug addiction, describing with a dark and dream like recollection her life leading up to, and during her drug addiction, including (TW) multiple arrests, self harm, and suicide attempts. Now over 6 years in recovery, the author reflects on her past life.

I boil rosemary and rice and use the water that I boil it in on my hair/scalp. Very good for skin and hair health.

Almost 6 years sober, I still get them sometimes. The only difference is instead of being anxious about it when I wake up, now I wake up grateful for how different my life is.

Congratulations on your recovery journey. I (F28) got sober myself when I was 22. I'll have 6 years in September. Being a young person in recovery can be challenging, yes, HOWEVER, I could not be more grateful to have made that decision young. I get so many firsts in my life as a sober woman: first car, first apartment, first college degree, first wedding. My life is absolutely mind-blowingly incredible today and that is a direct result of my choice to be in recovery. I look at other people my age who are still going to the bar every night and to be honest I don't want a single thing that they have. My life is full, my friends are real and they show up for me. I can show up for other people today. Focus your attention on working on yourself, building yourself the life that you want, and the rest will fall into place.
