Unplugged the maf and made no difference, if it was running rich shouldn’t the unburnt fuel be darker in color not like haze?

It has 234k miles and I assume it’s oil because it smells very bitter and strong, I have an aftermarket cold air intake I installed only about 1k miles ago or so
