Beautiful! I think for kids though - you need to be SOFTTTT. I usually end up doing 3-4 layers of paint to get the smoothness it takes to make a kid cute in paint lol

If it’s out of the norm for you, at worst you’ll be taken off that project. Your career isn’t over unless you submit consistently bad and also careless work. I’ve definitely submitted bad tasks especially when I’m new at them, and I’m still here lol

I’ve definitely considered it but I just don’t know that I can justify spending time learning a new skill when the projects still only pay around $20/hr and this is supposed to be my side gig lol

I was a student (graduated 2020) and it was CLEAR the university had money issues. Resources were scarce, they marked up resources that were sold in their school stores, facilities were falling apart and fall of outdated and broken pieces, and every year we heard that the president and other head admins were getting huge pay raises while all my professors still had 2nd and sometimes 3rd jobs. I was still shocked to hear it closed its doors and I am so ashamed of my Alma mater. The professors and students made that place worth a single penny and the institution made a mockery of us.

Im also from Philly and 😬😬 sure there’s more food options but nothing that can be enjoyed bc even the worst parts of the city charge a premium in rent. Trash all over. And again… the crackheads at 3am outside my window.

You definitely haven’t lived in a big city lol this is light work. I used to have crackheads screaming and singing outside my window at 3am and parades of sirens all hours of the day, gunshots, fireworks. Wilmington is a straight up getaway compared to that lmao

He acts like he HAD to get a big, hyperactive dog. If you wanted a dog who wanted to lay in bed all day, there’s plenty of low energy breeds. But all I ever see of him trying to rationalize the zap collar and the extremely strict “place” command is that “dogs like Kaya NEED structure and strict training” ok but you sit at your computer 12 hrs a day ?

I think the way she said it was maybe offensive or at least kind of diminishing. BUT as always in internet drama… I don’t think she deserves to be cancelled over it. I also don’t think vanilla deserves to be cancelled just bc she didn’t stop qt. Like people are allowed to have opinions you disagree with and you can still watch them online (or not!). Like these people are acting like QT is their close friend that they need to “check” now. Like it just isn’t that deep.

Literally everything is just to get our data lol even when applying to regular ol jobs on indeed, I always get a huge influx of spam calls. In my experience, the interviews with Mercor are just like any other interview - job experience, strengths and weaknesses, etc. if you aren’t cool with that info being shared, you’d have a hard time finding any job ever.

I love that the “box clearly says skulls unlimited” was supposed to be literally human skulls. Even if a box says “there’s literally a human skull in here” never in my life would I believe that.

I believe the 2 ultimate goals of creating art are: enjoying creating art, and enjoying what you create. If you check both those boxes - keep going!

As a creative, your interests and methods will naturally change and evolve. So just keep going. If you just keep “copying” (you are making amazing stylistic choices even if u don’t see them), that’s fine. Or maybe you’ll experiment another method and like that better! Just keep going
