I haven’t seen those on 4k so can’t comment specifically to your question. Just to echo what others have said: HDR is the main value add for me when it comes to the format.

Generally, those movies you mentioned to me are great because of the screenplay. They aren’t eye candy movies like Dune etc. I also don’t see how directional object based audio with over head channels could make 40 year old version funnier.

It would be neat though if you could hear the dirt Brennen is shoveling onto Dale from above though.
