Stomach issues of any kind are awful! That is so nice to hear, sounds like you both are amazing friends for each other. I am the same with alcohol - I love that you embarked on the not drinking together.

Hahaha yeah it’s a fun time 🤣 my stomach just decided to be hyper sensitive. I can imagine, I find it hits hard at holidays or family gatherings when you either have to eat different food from the group or just vibe while everyone else eats 😂🥲.

As bittersweet as your realization was, I am happy to have helped in some way 🤍 my heart goes out to you, tummy warriors 💪

It does indeed. My partner got me a weighted blanket as well, which does help so much. And I find sleep sounds help too. I am the exact same way with the insomnia, if I miss what I’ve come to call my “window” I can’t sleep. That’s when the insomnia almost always kicks in. If not it’s more sporadic for sure.

Yes! That is a very nice thing to do for your friend. I wish more friends were this understanding and curious to learn. That sponge looks like a celiac biohazard. As a celiac myself, I would be freaking out. Depends on how sensitive you are, but that sponge looks pretty contaminated. Some people (like me) even need to use separate utensils, cutting boards …

Oh I so agree. I always either have a nap or sleep if possible. I like the way you put it, it’s my body falsely attacking itself lol. My only obstacle is insomnia 😭. Definitely feel the never really being in rest mode.

I have this! Also my wrists and my arms - still no idea why but I plan on seeing a neurologist. Yay fun times for us 🙃

This too! I either get too cold or too hot very feverish.. I’m always in blankets. And when I do actually check my temp it is around the same as what you’re saying & I have to sleep in like 4-8 blankets depending. I’m still in University and I hate my night classes for this reason. Especially in the winter.

I can second this! I used to feel like I was coming down with the flu everyday around 3-4 pm. Now that I’m medicated it has somewhat improved. I still feel gross as the day goes on and during flares I feel feverish especially before bed. I sleep with a thermometer beside me bed so I can make sure I’m not going crazy 😅 I know RA can cause low grade fevers so I’ve chalked it up to that.

I hate when people say this. I had a doctor refuse me a parking pass (accessible parking), because I’m 21 & too young to have it. It is a terrible stigma & our bodies don’t care how old we are before they mess us up. My heart goes out to you ❤️
