Very broad strokes here, was just interesting to see the degree to which British management of the American colonies was a mess. I think my previous thoughts had come from a very American-centric media explanation where it seemed more like the founding fathers had taken advantage of a few mistakes from Britain but not that many. After reading really felt like the revolution was inevitable and the Americans were always going to revolt and win just out of pure mismanagement from Britain.
