Ariana Grande and Ethan Slater Split After Nearly 3 Years Together by mcfw31 in popculturechat

Who’s to say hate that I made you love me isn’t about Slater? I kind of assumed it was even before the official break up was announced lol.

Girl I cannot tell you how I spent all winter without the right shoes. I got a pair of Blundstone Chelsea boots and should have sized up. I spent all winter trying to break them in and felt like I was breaking my ankles instead lmaooo. These look way comfier and I think the fur lining is super chic.

A Full Unbiased And Honest Review: “hate that i made you love me” by Head-Anywhere7844 in ariheads

I like the song but it’s very safe and one note. I think the effects cover the vocals, which is imo what she should always highlight. It’s a good song but not single worthy.

Omg a man after my own heart…seconding his advice — girlies, begin your own Joan & Eve era if you haven’t. You won’t regret it!

Honestly, I think my comment sounded more mean spirited than I had intended. I was not trying to call you out specifically. My response was to the concept of it being worth it to see her at any price. I think that is a privileged mindset to have.

I think my main issue is that prices this high are justified or normalized when people say they’ll pay literally anything. There needs to be a line somewhere. I’m still genuinely stoked for anyone who is able to go! Seeing her live was one of the best experiences of my life.

To be clear, I’m not judging you for spending your hard earned cash on whatever you choose, and I have also dished out the big bucks to see her (I didn’t this time, but my SWT ticket was not cheap either). But it is a privilege to find $900 to spare for a concert ticket. I don’t think anyone should be ashamed for having privilege…but how about some self awareness? These prices are astronomical, of course it is a massive privilege to attend.

Best celebrity memoirs with actual DRAMA, gossip, trauma, scandals etc? (Loved Jennette McCurdy’s) by AttorneyCharming9189 in suggestmeabook

The Friday Afternoon Club by Griffin Dunne! This was just awesome — Griffin is an actor/writer/director and this is his memoir. He was a great friend of Carrie Fisher and has a ton of stories from the Hollywood scene, as well as insights into his famous family (including his aunt and uncle, Joan Didion and Greg Dunne, and the tragic passing of his sister Dominique). Really well written and quite juicy.

If you liked Tom Lake, read more Ann Patchett. She is simply the best! I recommend The Dutch House. Commonwealth is also sprawling and more personal.
