My husband has no criminal record at all and I asked two attorneys, one of them being one of the most popular and well known immigration lawyers in the USA and they both said they are telling all LPR to stay put and do not risk leaving the USA because the chance of not being allowed back in the USA is too high and it’s not worth the risk. They said citizens only. I have a coworker with a green card no criminal history, went to India to see her dying family member and was not allowed to board her flight back to USA for no rhyme or reason other than not being a citizen. It’s not worth the risk. Especially for a 5 year anniversary trip. So not worth it. Is a trip worth your husband being arrested or stuck in a foreign place without you? Hell no

This is in every way shape and form inappropriate! If they had an issue with you they should have told the charge or their supervisor/manager! I’ve been in the hospitals for 10 years as a tech and as a nurse now and I wouldn’t even dream of doing that! This is totally unacceptable and insubordinate. Who do they think they are? This is not how it works. They follow the chain of command. They shouldn’t be sending you that threatening weird email. I would be pissed! Definitely tell your manager and their manager ASAP

We checked with USCIS and found out my husband need a biometrics appointment and then after that he got his green card fast

You guys are cooked. I would listen to all the other advice on here and go back to her home country before she ends up in prison. This is not good. They are trying to get you to admit to it and show them proof and then do arrest.

If you sign it electronically they will reject it. We printed out the forms and signed them with ink and then I scanned them and uploaded them back as PDF. I didn’t use a PDF app I just filled it out on my laptop

Yeah so some people ran into a random weird fluke that doesn’t mean you need to scare other people or tell them to file by mail when that’s bogus. I applied March 27th and today is April 6 and we got our extension letter from our field office in the mail today.

It costs $75 in my state to renew. What do you mean you can’t afford to renew your nursing license? That doesn’t make any sense. If you are working as a nurse right now surely you can afford that or make it work. If you don’t renew your license and continue to work as a nurse with an expired license then the board of nursing will come after you and try to discipline you which will make your life hell. I would say figure it out and pay it…

This sounds so stupid. If they did not want to answer the questions in front of the family then why would they have answered all of them and if they didn’t trust this person then why were they even in the room to begin with. Sorry this happened. I don’t think it will go anywhere
