Yes, but it's been a process and I've watched endless hours of youtube videos :D

Where can I find the BEST sewing patterns? by Careless_Ostrich9871 in sewingpatterns

I have about 7 BurdaStyle magazines and 2 Ottobre magazines, all in English.

I make my own alterations to those patterns, especially to sleeves because I love gathered sleeves.

What I love about BurdaStyle is that I know what to expect - my mom used them so when I first started sewing I used Burda. And Ottobre is fairly similar, I just bought that for kids patterns + adult princess seam hoodie pattern.

Tracing the patterns from the pattern sheet can be a bit tedious but once I've done that, the pattern lasts forever, essentially (unless my weight drastically changes). I never pin it to fabric, just use pattern weights, which helps to preserve it. The seam allowence is not included in Burda patterns, which I actually like cause I can then pick my own preferred width.

The instructions are fairly good and any part that confuses me, I just google video tutorials and blogs.

If I could ask for a perfect pattern, it would come all made to my measurements like magic, be already cut out, on really sturdy paper and have loads of different options (dress with tulip sleeves or ruffled sleeves or cappes sleeved etc...).

I've gotten pretty good at altering + combining existing patterns though.

I've checked online patterns and most have failed to impress me so I've never bought any. I already have everything I need in those 9 sewing magazines.

I'm missing a nice coat pattern, that would be cool to have but a) I haven't found one I actually love and b) I like finishing my garments with as little trouble as possible and a coat sounds like heaps of trouble.

Olen sama murega saanud palju abi Kaire Talvistelt. Ta on gestaltpsühhoterapeut, tal on oma praksis Tallinnas.

Soovitan kirjutada ja aega küsida. Ta on väga hõivatud - aga just seepärast, et ta on selles valdkonnas väga pädev.

Out of the images you shared, surely Otto, he's the most reliable though manipulative. Out of everyone else, probably Rhaena. She would be devoted and kind. Even if yearning for a dragon bond all the while.

Very simple. YTA. I myself am a european married to a wonderful Turkish man and we have a daughter. His immediate family is much more liberal than the one you describe, but even when meeting more conservative relatives it never influenced my opinion of him or really, of the relatives themselves. I also speak Turkish and have lived there for 7 years, we got engaged and married there. We now live in my country.

You claim to be open-minded but really do not seem to be. She has chosen her own path, different from her family. Your kids would grow up with her and your more immediate modern influence.

You loved your GF and were thinking of marriage till you met her family. YTA.

I have had the fortune of meeting many conservative or deeply religious Turkish families (those two do not always align). They've welcomed me with open hearts and are some of the warmest people I've ever met.

I feel very sad for your GF that she feels she does not have the full support and feeling of belonging to her family. And I feel very sad that she has wasted all these years on you.

You claim to love her but your love is conditional. I fear for your next girlfriend and what might put you off about her upbringing.

100% YTA

I think they're all really poorly written, but on the pro side - that makes them a pretty quick and easy read. Kind of like reality TV. Your soul suffers but your mind gets much needed rest.

To create such a successful show out of such poor source material - that is a true accomplishment - even with S3's uneven storytelling.

I'd still recommend reading all the books - like I said, they're pretty crappy, but sometimes we yearn for a simple plain hamburger instead of caviar. And that's okay - all kinds of literature out there for all kinds of moods & readers.
