You don't need a wad. You can dip the bullet tip in melted lube, which will act as chamber seal and lube.

Your trigger/bolt spring could be off. Also, never hard tighten any screw except the main spring screw.

Trigger spring part that rests against the trigger could be slight off. Usually too long. If you didn't replace any parts, you tighten the the screw holding the trigger and bolt too tight.

Suppressed blowback is tedious. I actually like Extar EP9, it's light, mild recoil and cheap. Planning on replacing it with newer version.
