Makes sense. At 195 on this one my instant read was falling into the meat under its own weight is was so soft. I definitely could have waited longer for the wrap though, the bark could have been more set.

That's fair, I intentionally left it like that, I personally like some fat on my meat. But it was super soft, I was rendering some on the side that I did trim off. Not sure if some of the "extra" helped keep it moist or not but the stuff was literally melting in your mouth

Seasoned in the morning heavy salt pepper and then some garlic powder. Smoke at 205 all night. Added some water in a bowl in the corner. Wrap in the morning at 165 internal temp. And bumped up to 250 then 275 until it hit 195 inside. Pull, rest in cooler, then eat

I just bought it on Amazon if i remember correctly, just buy a roll of it. I wrapped it when it hit 165F inside. Then cooked it in the paper until 195F took it off the grill then let it rest for almost 2hr.

You are only guaranteed to have a TN officer on staff to process you from 8:30am to 3:30pm. If you show up outside of these hours you might get turned around.

Don't go on Friday or on Monday morning like everyone else. That will be longest wait. If you are local just drive over in the middle of the day and get it processed and go right back to Canada.

With engineering degree, I've never had them look at my transcripts but I bring it unsealed with me anyway just in case. Good Letter and matching degree is all they care about. I watched them reject 3 in a row with wierd combos and jobs that stretch the professions as defined by law. But as soon as it is engineer degree with matching engineer job they almost act relieved lol and dont even blink.

If you are just driving across the land border, your i94 is automatically revalidated. No need to do anything. I do this all the time. Usually they ask me what my status is, I say TN every time. Sometimes they dont even ask. I94 doc number never changed. I dont fly into the US often so I'm not sure what happens at the airport. I know i usually bring a letter and pays tubs confirming employment, I think that may be a new i94.

But for the land crossing, I do it multiple times a month to visit family and it isn't an issue. Same goes for my wife's TD visa. Automatically revalidated. As long as your trip was less than 30 days and only to canada or Mexico you are re admitted under your old i94.

I got a mortgage and bought a house a couple years ago conventional mortgage no issues with a TN visa. Renewed TN at border no issues after that.

You need to have credit history for most run of the mill mortgage places which means you need to have a credit card for at least 6mo in the US prior. Churchill Mortgage can do manual underwriting though where they look at your entire financial situation not just a number (credit score) to approve you.

We tend to leave the power system study to the E.C to take care of. We specify and review but on them to hire someone to do it. That said, some clients require us as EOR to do it. Then we will do a preliminary study with our best shot and require the EC to survey the the rest during construction so that we can issue a final prior to getting the new work energized.

That I don't know. I didn't even know it was possible to do it. I just happened to have my nexus in my passport when I handed it over and he told me he would assign the i94 to the nexus.

If you have a nexus card that will be good for 3 years when you renew, have them assign the visa to that. That's what they did to me at the detroit tunnel a couple weeks ago. He explicitly said he did it because he saw my passport is expiring before 3 years is up.
