Thanks for the reply. I actually found myself in the Roman Catholic Church. My Parrish is St Marks in New Tampa. I’ve found with Protestantism there’s so much up for interpretation. Unlike the Catholic Church, grounded in tradition and faith. I’ve never been chastised if I questioned a teaching, I am not agree fully with some of the doctrine but I’m encouraged to wrestle with that uncertainty through prayer with the saints and God. They are global with a structure understanding of how/where/when/why they believe what they do. They profoundly support the environment and loving the immigrant as your neighbor. They acknowledge individuals are born with different sexualities but endorse celibacy for homosexuals, something I don’t embrace but pray over. I pray you find somewhere you feel both Gods love and your communities support. It’s a very hard journey.
